Where does Kabanalouer come from?
Kabanalouer was born from something many cabin owners in Quebec have noticed. The big platforms take a lot along the way: service fees added to travelers' bills, a commission withheld on every stay, and filtered exchanges that keep people from really talking before they reach an agreement. In the end, everyone pays more for a service whose main value is putting two people in touch.
So we kept what works (a great showcase, clear listings, simple messaging) and removed the rest.

Owners pay a fixed annual subscription to list their cabin. That's it. We take no commission on stays, and travelers pay no fees. You find a cabin, you write freely to the owner, and you agree together on the dates and the price.
Since our revenue doesn't depend on the amount of your booking, we have no interest in pushing it up.
