The Cozy O-Lac Magog

This two-bedroom chalet sleeps up to 8 guests, with parking for about 4 vehicles. Each bedroom has a queen bed and a bunk bed with a single bed. There is a full bathroom and a shower room, as well as bedding and bath towels. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you'll also find a washer and dryer, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a ROKU smart TV and an indoor fireplace. The chalet sits directly on Lake Magog in the Eastern Townships, with views of the water and of the sunrise. Outside, you'll find a hot tub, a fire pit, a hammock, a dining area and a BBQ. The private dock can accommodate a motorboat. For paddling, two kayaks and adult life jackets are provided, along with a kayak and a paddleboard for children. The yacht club is 270 meters away, should you feel like renting another watercraft or taking a sailing lesson. To launch a boat, you'll need to head to the municipal beach launch ramp, 4 km away (7 minutes by car). In winter, the snowmobile trail runs across the lake, so you can access it directly from the chalet. Cyclists can reach the Route verte at the end of the neighbouring street. As for getting around, Highway 10 is 2 minutes away. Big-box stores (Walmart, Canadian Tire, Rona) and the grocery store are 7 minutes away, and Golf Venise is 4 minutes away. Allow 12 minutes to reach downtown Magog or the village of Orford, and 16 minutes to Mont Orford, where you can ski or go hiking.
