This Bauhaus-style chalet is located one hour from Montreal, on a private 6-acre wooded property with no neighbours visible from the house. It was featured in Architectural Digest Italia and cited as a gem in ELLE Decor France. It offers panoramic views and waterfront access with a private dock. It can accommodate up to 10 guests in five bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a cooling memory foam mattress topper. The house measures 900 square metres (CITQ #305601). For relaxation, the 4-person outdoor hot tub is open year-round. It is set at the foot of a 300-year-old pine tree, facing the outdoor fireplace, and features dual filtration, including a CLEARRAY UV system, and a locking cover for safety. The heated saltwater fibreglass pool is accessible from May 1 to September 30 and surrounded by lounge chairs. Indoors, the Finnish sauna made of light-coloured British Columbia red cedar accommodates up to 5 people at a time, with an electric stone heater and a view of the woods. It is located in the fourth bathroom, which also includes a freestanding soaking tub. Outside, you will find a private pickleball court, archery, horseshoes and badminton games, two kayaks, two bicycles and a paddleboard. The kitchen is fully open to the dining room. Its 5-metre island allows several people to cook together, and the countertops are made of Dekton. It is equipped with Henckels and All-Clad pots, a cast-iron Dutch oven, chef's knives, a rice cooker, a waffle maker, a crêpe griddle, an air fryer, a bread maker, a Nespresso machine, a Bialetti coffee maker and a blender, among others. A separate drinking water dispenser is fitted with a UV purifier. The tableware includes porcelain, crystal glassware, onyx black cutlery and plastic items for outdoor use. The smoked glass table with walnut legs seats 10 guests, in front of the panoramic view and the double-sided wood-burning fireplace, which can also be seen from the living room, the kitchen and the covered outdoor lounge. This lounge is equipped with a 6-burner Weber Summit gas BBQ, with an infrared burner and smoker box. A herb garden is also within reach, and starter essentials (spices, oils, flour, mustard, etc.) are provided. The living room includes a sectional sofa, a zero-gravity chair, poufs and a 65-inch smart TV with Bell cable. The family room has two sofas, a bean bag, a chair, a 55-inch TV with Bell cable, a Bose Lifestyle home theatre, a second refrigerator and a wine and beer fridge. The home automation system allows you to play your music indoors and outdoors, or to keep the TV in the living room and the music elsewhere, thanks to the Wi-Fi stereo speakers in the living room, dining room, kitchen, main bathroom and outdoor lounge. All four bathrooms have heated floors. Two master bedrooms each have their own private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a third bathroom offers a double shower and double sinks. Each bedroom is soundproofed, with a thermostat and electric baseboard heater for temperature control, opaque California-style blinds and USB outlets. A wall-mounted heat pump and an air exchanger serve the main floor and the lower level. The floors are made of exotic walnut with 6-inch planks. Bed linens, towels and bath products are provided. Internet is provided by satellite, and a central vacuum system is installed. For safety, the house is equipped with smoke, carbon monoxide and water leak detectors, exterior cameras, motion detectors and door sensors inside, as well as a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. A few minutes away, you will find cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobile trails, the Saint-Côme alpine ski hill, the Super Glissades water slides in Saint-Jean-de-Matha, the Oka Abbey, golf, a cycling path and agri-tourism producers (duck, organic yogurt, fine chocolates, cider house, and more). A few rules govern the stay. The maximum is 10 people, and only those listed on the contract are permitted, with no visitors. Parties and noise are prohibited, as sound carries to the neighbours, who have the owners' contact information, and penalties for disturbances may be deducted from the deposit. Tents and campers, fireworks, firearms, animals and indoor smoking are not permitted. The house and its grounds must be returned clean and undamaged. Reservations are restricted to persons aged 30 and over, and each adult staying must sign the usage guidelines.
