Chalet White Wolf Spa (Lac Fiddler)

A contemporary log cabin on over 60,000 sq ft of private forest at Domaine du Lac Fiddler. No neighbours in sight, and the lake is less than a 10-minute walk away. The heated pool is entirely private: a fenced 800 sq ft wooden deck furnished with lounge chairs, open from June to September. Year-round, you'll find an outdoor hot tub and dry sauna, plus a shaded pergola with a dining area and BBQ (propane provided). Five bedrooms, two living rooms and three full bathrooms for 12 guests. Main level: a large contemporary living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a kitchen with a central island, the primary bedroom (King bed, full bathroom), a Queen bedroom with its own bathroom, and a round dining room with glass walls overlooking the forest. Garden level: a games room with a pool table and two sofa beds (handy for children), a relaxation area with a home theatre and Bluetooth, and three Queen bedrooms. Satellite TV, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer. Available as an option at booking, the domain's recreation centre, a 5 to 10-minute walk away, opens its facilities: an indoor heated pool open year-round, then a skating rink, snowshoeing and toboggan slides in winter, or an outdoor pool, pedal boats, kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, tennis and children's play areas in summer. Family reunions, ski weekends or friends' getaways: the spirit here is relaxation, with the neighbourhood's peace to be respected from 10 p.m. Graduation parties and festive groups are not welcome.
