The Rustik Refuge

The Rustik Refuge sits on the banks of the Lièvre River, in an atmosphere that blends rustic wood with modern touches. The house spans several levels, and the river can be seen from the mezzanine as well as from the large balcony. The main bedroom is located on the mezzanine, with a king bed, a sofa bed, and a view of the water. Another bedroom is on the ground floor, and two connecting bedrooms are set up in the basement. Each level has its own bathroom. Since there are sofa beds, remember to bring your sheets and blankets. On the ground floor, the kitchen is fully equipped and includes an electric fondue maker as well as a raclette grill. The living area with its wood-burning fireplace sits alongside a second lounge space, which features a TV and a work desk. In the basement, the games room has a pool table and two small arcade machines, and it is also where you access the spa. Outside, the veranda leads to the spa, and a spot is provided for lighting a fire. Two outdoor furniture sets, each seating six, are available, one on the upper balcony and the other on the lower level. A double kayak for adults is also at the disposal of guests. Firewood is included. A few logs are waiting near the indoor fireplace, and more are stored on the balcony, to the left of the fireplace. If these are not enough, the outdoor shed holds the rest of the supply. The dock is installed between May and June, then removed between September and October, depending on the water level.
