Valin Chic-Bois - Monts Valin - Le Valinouët Ski Resort

The Valin Chic-Bois is a rustic chic chalet built from Western red cedar logs. It sits on the mountainside, facing the Monts-Valin, and its windows look out over a panoramic view of the entire mountain range. It is located in the Valinouët alpine village at the junction of the main slope and the west slope, in a ski-in/ski-out setup: you put on your skis right at the door. The Valin sector receives an average of 6 metres of snow each winter, earning it the nickname "land of white gold." Alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, fat biking and tubing are all on offer. Snowmobilers have access to federated trails and off-trail riding, and a rental centre is located nearby. A outdoor skating rink is also within walking distance. Summer has its own attractions: hiking and mountain biking trails, lakes for fishing, adventure motorcycle routes (with a guide available) and a network of trails for ATVs and side-by-sides. The SÉPAQ park is 15 minutes away. After a day of activity, the Éternel Spa, a Scandinavian spa, is a 5-minute drive away. To explore the region, Ville Saguenay (Chicoutimi) is 40 minutes away, a great base for discovering Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. The chalet accommodates up to 14 guests, making it equally suitable for a large family, a group of friends or a couple's getaway.
