Getting started
How do I create my listing?
Create a free owner account, fill in your cabin information (photos, description, amenities, calendar), then activate your listing via the "Publish my listing" section.
How long does it take to create a listing?
Between 15 and 30 minutes for a complete listing. Our AI can generate your title and description automatically.
Do I need a CITQ number?
Yes, a valid 6-digit CITQ number is required to publish your listing on Kabanalouer, in accordance with Quebec regulations.
Photos
How many photos can I add?
Up to 80 photos per listing. A minimum of 5 photos is required to publish. Photos are automatically compressed to WebP for optimal quality.
What are the photo requirements?
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WebP. Maximum size: 2 MB per photo after automatic compression. Recommended resolution: minimum 1920 px.
Calendar and availability
How do I manage my availability?
In your dashboard, go to the Calendar section of your listing. You can block dates manually or sync automatically via iCal (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.).
Is iCal sync automatic?
Yes, automatic sync runs every hour. You can also force a manual sync at any time.
Messaging and travelers
How do travelers contact me?
Via Kabanalouer's built-in messaging. You receive an email notification for each new message.
Are travelers' contact details visible?
Travelers contact you through our messaging system. Their contact details (email, phone) are included in their contact request.
Subscription
What happens if I don't renew?
Your listing is automatically unpublished at expiry, but your data stays intact — photos, description, reviews — for as long as you like. Nothing is deleted automatically.
Can I have multiple cabins?
Yes, each cabin requires its own subscription at 299 $/year.
Does the free offer apply to all my cabins?
No, the free offer applies once per owner, no matter how many cabins you have. Your other cabins are billed at the regular rate.
