This chalet, built at the end of 2023, sits on the shores of Lake Désert, near the village of La Minerve. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and the large property slopes down to the lake, where a private dock provides access to the water. From the property, the view opens onto the entire body of water. Inside, a wood-burning fireplace takes center stage in the living room. Outside, a second fireplace and a spa usable in every season, facing the lake, extend the evenings even when the weather cools. Smart TVs provide access to Netflix, Prime Video and other streaming platforms, and unlimited high-speed WiFi is included. The beds are made with hotel-quality sheets and bedding, and bath and spa towels are provided. On the water side, you have three kayaks, two paddleboards, a pedal boat and a canoe at your disposal, as well as several life jackets. The property lends itself to outdoor games, and a propane barbecue is provided. The kitchen is fully equipped: dishes and utensils for 14 people, microwave oven, toaster, refrigerator with freezer, stove, dishwasher, 2-in-1 coffee maker with K-Cup pods, and a raclette grill for 8 people. You will also find basic spices, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, cleaning products and garbage bags. Toilet paper, tissues and hand soap are provided in limited quantities. The chalet usually accommodates 12 adults, or up to 14 people including children under 12. The grocery store and gas station are 5 minutes away, in the village of La Minerve. Allow 30 minutes to the Tremblant region, 1 h 30 to Montreal and 1 h 45 to Ottawa.
