Chalet Boréal le Chinook, a mini-house style pod in the heart of nature, with hot tub.

The Chinook is a tiny-house-style pod set on a large wooded property where the night sky is wonderfully easy to observe. The hot tub, sheltered under a gazebo, remains available year-round, even when the weather turns bad. Outside, you will also find a large BBQ, a patio set and a fire pit area surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Inside, the open-concept living area features a three-seat sofa, an electric fireplace and a 40-inch TV with Amazon Video. Internet is provided via fibre optic, with 120 Mbps Wi-Fi. Two enclosed bedrooms, each with a queen bed, ensure privacy. The dining table seats four, and folding chairs are available as needed. The kitchen is well equipped. Around the chalet, everything is accessible by car, often within a few minutes. Brasserie Nouvelle-France, serving beer and a gourmet menu, and a grocery store are 5 minutes away. The Prémont vineyard is 20 minutes away. In summer, the Écorces River, 3 minutes away, is perfect for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, scuba diving and swimming. The Lake Sacacomie dock and municipal beach are 15 minutes away, Domaine Lacombe (fishing) is 8 minutes away, and the Loup River is 10 minutes away. Pourvoirie Ayapewa also offers fishing. Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc, for its part, offers bear watching, helicopter flights, side-by-side ATV rides, trout fishing and stand-up paddleboard rentals. In winter, Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc, 10 minutes away, organizes dog sled outings. Domaine Lacombe offers tubing, skating on the lake, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding. A few rules govern use of the hot tub: A shower is required before entering, as sunscreen, insect repellent, deodorant, perfume and other body creams disrupt the water and its pH. Glass is prohibited. Plastic cups are stored in the cabinet in the corner of the kitchen. After use, close the cover and lock it with the latches. The hot tub must remain in continuous circulation mode. Any spilled liquid or failure to follow these rules will result in cleaning fees charged to the tenant.
