Cabin description

This century-old house in Mauricie sits on a working farm, 10 km from downtown. A large veranda wraps around the house, and it has the atmosphere of a grandparents' home. Farm visits are possible by appointment. A path crosses the property and leads to a small country corner dedicated to Félix Leclerc. A trail then descends to the river, with direct access to the water. The house is non-smoking. The surroundings offer plenty to do in every season. In winter, you can skate at the outdoor rink in the Parc portuaire downtown or at Parc de l'Île St-Quentin, go sliding, snowmobiling, take a dog sled ride or go ice fishing. Fish are also plentiful in the channels. Parc de la Mauricie and Parc de la Rivière Batiscan are nearby, as is the Cogeco Amphitheatre, a concert venue.
